Henrik Fisker posted the first images of the Fisker EMotion model on his page on Twitter. According to Henrik, the new electric car will be able not just to compete with Tesla, but also to show the best performance. As stated in Fisker Inc., the new car is capable of covering 400 miles without additional charge at this reaching a maximum speed of 160 mph. The secret of the impressive range involves using nano-strong graphene batteries, which are not used yet in serial electric vehicles. The EMotion could be the first of them. In addition to outstanding performance, the company intends to equip the electric vehicle with an autonomous control system, as in Tesla Model S.
The public presentation of the EMotion electric car is scheduled for 2017, and the start of sales - for the first half of 2018. According to preliminary data, the Fisker EMotion will get the gullwing doors and will have the latest entertainment system, which will keep passengers company on the road.
It is to be recalled that the designer Henrik Fisker is a creator of the Aston Martin DB9 and the BMW Z8. Initially, his company was called "Fisker Automotive" and it has become known to the world thanks to the Fisker Karma model.
Despite the glamorous appearance, the demand for the car was quite small, wherefore the company underwent severe losses, and in 2014 it was sold to Wanxiang Group, the Chinese auto parts supplier. After finding the new owner, it was renamed into the Karma Automotive, and Henrik created two new companies - Fisker Inc. (the manufacturer of electric vehicles) and Fisker Nanotech (the battery developer).
